Obituary
Peter C. Werth, 82, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday September 6
th
, 2023. Pete was originally from North Tonawanda, New York, and he was born to the late Harold and Edna Werth. He was a devout follower of the Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees. Some of his interests include golfing, playing tennis and racquetball. Pete always enjoyed singing in the church choir. He loved traveling and visiting new places. Pete's career spanned over 40 years with Continental Can in a variety of roles, where he concluded in the sales department.
Pete is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Peg (Taylor) Werth; daughter, Tracey (Jerry) Wahl; son, Brian (Becca) Werth; grandchildren, Sarah, Liam, Rachel, and Kiera; brother, James (Chris) Werth; sister Mary Werth; sister-in-law Audrey (Dale) Minjock; and nieces and nephews.
Pete was preceded in death by his grandson, Patrick; brothers, Dave and John.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday September 16 th , 2023 at 11:00 am with visitation 1 hour prior, visitation also on Friday September 15 th 2023 from 4-7 pm, all taking place at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N Clinton St Fort Wayne, IN 46825. Preferred memorials in Pete's honor may be directed to the choice of the donor.
