Peter A. Nix, 66, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Peter was a son of the late Eugene and Julia Nix. Peter graduated from South Side High School and earned his Associates Degree from Ivy Tech in Marketing Technology. Peter was an Account Manager for Associated Material Handling. He was a member of the OMNI Business Group. The most important thing in his life was his family and making memories with them. Peter lived his life like his faith would want him to. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, watching IU Basketball, Football, telling jokes, and drinking IPA Beer. Surviving are his wife, Judy Nix; children, Amy Reinking, Ashley (Zach) Stotler, Alexander (Carly) Nix, Elliott (Amanda) Nix; step-children, Amber (James) Coughlin, April (Thuy) Lam, Christopher (Emilie) Nelson; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Charles Nix, James (Becky) Nix, Patricia Maggart, Deborah Nix, Linda Nix, Paul (Ann) Nix, Nancy Miller, Jeanna (Tom) DeHaven, Jerry (Kathy) Nix, Joe Nix, Dan Nix; step-siblings, Dale Konkle and James (Vida) Konkle, and Debra Steele. Peter was preceded in death by his first wife, Nora Nix; step-father, Jack Konkle; grandson, Jack Steven Coughlin; and siblings, John Nix and Joannie Miller. Service is 11 am, Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Pathway Community Church, 1010 Carroll Rd, with calling one hour prior. Calling also on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 4 pm to 7 pm at the church. Service will be live streamed at https://www.pccfw.tv/ Mask and the practice of distancing will be in place. Memorial may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
