Obituary
Paul D. Mason, 55, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Paul was a son of Bill and Pat (Wylie) Mason. Paul graduated from New Haven High School and earned his CNC certificate through IVY Tech. During his working years, Paul worked for Kyocera Precision Tools for many years prior to working at C&A Tool for the past six years. Paul loved hockey and played hockey when he was younger and met the love of his life Heather Humcke at the skating rink. That encounter led to a marriage and a wonderful life for Paul and Heather for the past 34 years. Paul enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, going to the lakes and fishing, and cheering on the Detroit Red Wings. He cherished the yearly vacations with his family to Ft. Myers Beach, Florida, and was recently afforded the great honor to have the title of "Papa" to his granddaughter Millie. Surviving are his wife, Heather Mason, children, Tyler (Melissa) Mason, Megan (Evvin) Ranney; granddaughter, Millie Ranney; father, Bill (Linda) Mason; mother, Pat Mason; siblings, Chad (Amy) Mason, Alycia (Eric) Noga; stepsiblings, Jeff (Courtney) Messman, Bruce Messman, Kim Messman; along with many nieces and nephews and great-nephews. Service is 6 pm, Friday, March 28, 2025 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling from 3 pm until the service. Memorials may be made to Cancer Services of NE Indiana.
