Paul William Gerding, Jr., 68, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021 in Trenton, MI. He was born in Fort Wayne to the late Paul Gerding, Sr. and Betty Scott Gerding Ripberger of Fort Wayne, who survives. Paul worked in sales for AccuTemp Products, Inc. He loved and enjoyed his grandchildren and golden retrievers. Paul is survived by his wife of 45 years, Nancy Gerding of Fort Wayne; daughters, Jennifer (Patrick) Kuhlman of Fort Wayne, Libby (Bryan) McGovern of Vestal, NY, Emily (John) Koval of Vestal, NY, and Laura (Charles) Summers of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Kevin and Micky McGovern, Rachel and Katie Kuhlman, Lilly and Harrison Summers; sister, Becky (Tavo) Sera of Knoxville, TN; mother-in-law, Jean Dray of Fort Wayne; brother-in-law, Larry Dray of Mesa, AZ; sister-in-law, Diane Hofer of Fort Wayne; nephews, Ben (Rebecca) Hofer of Lagrange, IN, John (Angie) Hofer of Fort Wayne, and Jordan Sera of Orlando, FL. A private graveside service will be held at Lindenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church or Humane Fort Wayne.
