Patricia A. Scherschel, 77, of New Haven, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.

Born in New York City, Patricia was the beloved daughter of the late Edward and Alice Albert. She dedicated more than 20 years of service to East Allen County Schools, where she was known for her hard work, kindness.

Pat found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved gardening, creating crafts, shopping, spending time outdoors, and camping. A devoted animal lover, she shared her home and heart with many beloved pets over the years.

Family was the center of Pat’s life. She was a dedicated Girl Scout leader and a proud dance mom who enthusiastically supported her daughter in every endeavor. She treasured every opportunity to be involved in her daughter's life, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Pat was a faithful member of New Haven United Methodist Church.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Angela Scherschel; sister, Sue (Alan) Cole; niece, Jen (Chris) Delagrange and their children, Keaton and Kennedy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Scherschel in 2018; and nephew Jason Cole.

A celebration of Patricia's life will be announced by her family at a later date.
