Obituary

Patricia "Pat" Ann Nash, 77, passed away on July 9, 2026, at home. She was born in Kankakee, Illinois on October 28, 1948.

Pat found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, especially at family reunions and with her grandchildren. She enjoyed tending to her garden, caring for her flowers, relaxing with her morning cup of coffee, and watching Friday night and Christmas movies with a bowl of popcorn. Pat worked at K-Mart and later retired at Midwest America. She will be dearly missed by her many friends and family members.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 59 years, Wayne Nash; children, John Nash, Tracy Nash, Tony (Heather) Nash; grandkids, Nick Nash, Dakota (Whitney) Nash, Alec (Maddie) Nash, Tiffany Nash, Chris Nash, and Jacob Nash; great-grandkids, Tyler Nash, Coraline Nash, and Allison Nash; siblings, Mike Tassler, Tom (Peggy) Tassler, Shirley Tassler, Dale Tassler, Rebecca Goings, and Carol (Richard) Jackson, Cheryl (Mike) Vincent; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Levi and Becky Tassler; brother, Paul Tassler; and twin boys, Greg and Craig Nash.

A public visitation will take place on Monday, July 13th, 2026 from 5-8 pm located at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street). A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, July 14th, 2026, at noon located at Fairhaven with visitation starting at 11 am. A burial will take place following the service at Lindenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to Alzheimer's Association .
