Norma M. Gasper, 101, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday May 12, 2026. She was born in Mulberry Grove, Illinois to the late Ruhe and Velma Keel.
Norma traveled extensively with her husband as he served in the United States Air Force. She worked at and retired from General Electric. Norma was a very devoted wife, mother, and Grammy to her family. She loved playing the piano, which she taught herself to play. She also enjoyed gardening and planting flowers.
Norma is survived by her son in law, Steven Hulbert; grandchildren, Clayton (Lisa) Stark, John (Sabrina) Stark, David Gasper, Daniel (Mallorie) Gasper, Jazmine (Kareem) Gasper, and Carissa Gasper; 9 great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Gasper; children, Patricia M. Stark, Kathy L. Hulbert, and William A. Gasper; sisters, Laverne Dee, Alberta, and Hilda; special friend, Bob Tesch.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday May 19th 2026, from 12:00pm-1:30pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. A committal will take place immediately following at Greenlawn Memorial Park where she will be entombed.
