Norma J. Gaines, 96, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, March 26th, 2023 at her home. She was born and raised in Churubusco, Ind to the late Harvey and Elsie Graves. In June of 1947, she married Ernest Gaines and they enjoyed 70 years together. Norma attended Grace Point Church of the Nazarene for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and playing cards.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Vickie (Larry) Burton; grandchildren, Lori (Joshua) Tindall, Shana (Mike) Cook, and Tiffany (Matt) Arruza; 8 great grandchildren ; brother, Dale (Rickie) Graves.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Gaines; 5 sisters. A private family service was held with burial in Eel River Cemetery. Preferred memorials may be directed to Grace Point Church.
