Norma Jean Brotherton, 88, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 at her home in Fort Wayne. She was born in Arcola, IN to the late Lester Middleton and Ruth Kirchner. Norma was an ordained minister and was active in Bible ministry. She also operated her own housekeeping business and was an active volunteer with CASA. Norma was survived by her children, Barb (Mark McKinney) Heinkel, Cindy (David) Borkenstein, Ann (David) Richards, Jeff (Vickie) Warner, Bill Brotherton, David Warner, Melinda (Suheal) Hawash, Nancy Costello, Brandon (Carlie) Brotherton, Chad (Brenna) Brotherton, and Amanda (Justin) Arnold; 38 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Joan, Barbara, Shirley, and Bonnie. Norma was preceded in death by her husband Norval Brotherton; son Daniel Brotherton; and two brothers, Richard and Don "Butch". Service is 5:30 pm, Friday, March 24, 2023 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. with calling beginning at 3:00 pm. Memorials may be made to Jimmy Swaggart Ministries.
