Obituary
Nikki Lynn Tellman, 35, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, March 22, 2025. Born in Wabash, Indiana, Nikki was a daughter of Bradley and Peggy (Huber) Shane. Nikki graduated from Lakeland Christian Academy and earned her cosmetology degree from Master's Cosmetology School. Nikki was a very talented hairdresser. While hard at work making others look their best, she got to deploy one of her other talents…being social. Nikki could talk and be an attentive listener to all and she never met a stranger. Throughout the years, Nikki made an incredible amount of friends that shaped her life. For all of those who knew her, Nikki was nature oriented. She loved to hike, loved all animals, especially horses and dogs. She had a gift for finding and taking incredible photos. Nikki loved music and was gifted in playing the piano. Nikki was a loving wife to her husband Tim, a devoted mom to her children in which she loved to take to the zoo, a beloved daughter, and a caring friend to all. Surviving are her parents, Brad and Peggy Shane; her husband Timothy "Tim" Tellman; children, Cora Lynn Hormann, Henry Alan Hormann; step-children, Juliet (Cory) Sokolowski, Lillian Tellman, Porter Tellman, Alexander Tellman, Isaac Tellman; siblings, Brandi Johnson, Jasmin (Brandon) Taylor, Jeanette Shane, Wendi Shane, Zachary Shane, Thomas Shane, Ashley Creech, Andrew Shane; her bestie forever, Samantha Dougherty; grandma's Myrna Shane, Bonnie Huber; and her in laws, Linda (Don) McAbee. Nikki was preceded in death by her grandpas Paul Shane and Kenneth Huber. A time of Celebration of Nikki's Life will be Sunday, March 30, 2025 from 2 pm to 5 pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street. Memorials may be made to Cora and Henry's Education Fund in care of Kyle Hormann.
