Obituary

Colin Jellicoe, age 68, passed away December 22, 2025 in Fort Wayne, IN surrounded by his loved ones. He was born January 16th in Liverpool, England, to the late Barbara McKenzie Jellicoe and Samuel Jellicoe.

Colin worked in manufacturing with Omni Source prior to retiring and was attending the School of Rock, where he was relearning to play the guitar. He had a passion for music, being a big fan of classic rock, and planned on learning the piano next.

Aside from the guitar, Colin was a man of many hobbies. He was a big gamer and enjoyed playing Elder Scrolls Online in his free time. He had been a member of his guild for over 8 years. He also spent his time woodcrafting in his garage and repairing things around the house. He enjoyed fishing and was looking forward to taking his grandsons out on the boat one day soon. He was Liverpool F.C.'s Number 1 fan and was never without his team's color or emblem.

Colin was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was the type of man to take you in and care about as if you were his own, making you a part of his family. He was an extremely loyal, loving man who would never hold a grudge. He wasn't easy to anger and would wake bright and early with a smile on his face everyday. If you had a bad day, he would knock the tea kettle on for you and listen to your qualms while making you a cuppa tea, no matter the time of day.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jill Jellicoe; children, Andrea Nielson, Kim Darwood Jones; grandkids Zara and Georgina, Devon Sipe, Kay Darwood, Haley Sipe; grandson Finn; Amber Patel; grandson Soma; and sisters, Heather and Loraine. He is preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St., with calling hours beginning at 1:00 p.m. two hours prior. Memorials may be made to the family I/C of Jill Jellicoe. To sign the online guestbook, go to www.fairhavenfortwayne.com
