Nicole Ann Cichocki, age 37, passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2021 in Fort Wayne. She was born in Fort Wayne, and a daughter to the late, Lois Cichocki. She enjoyed cheering on the Alabama football team with friends and family, as well as playing Scrabble and challenging others to the best word possible. She also enjoyed baking, especially cookies, and contributing them to the St. Peter's Cookie Walk. Nicole will be missed most by her service dog, Burrito. Burrito was the best friend she could have asked for. Her family and friends will miss Nicole's smile, wit, and humor that she shared freely. She is survived by her brother, Ben (Rebecca) Cichocki; niece, Katie; extended family, Walter (Carolyn) Slack; many cousins; husband, Mauricio Giraldo; and sister-in-law, Lucy Giraldo. A memorial service is 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 7710 E. State Blvd. Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church or Humane Fort Wayne.
