Nancy Everson Sanders, 74, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, May 12, 2024. Born in Uniontown, Alabama, Nancy was a daughter of the late John and Sarah (Hudson) Everson. Nancy earned her associate degree from Selma University. During her working years, Nancy worked as a supervisor for Target until her retirement. Nancy had a passion for taking care of her yard, growing flowers and food in her garden. Nothing was more important than spending time with her family especially her grandbabies. She was a member of Fellowship Missionary Church. Surviving are her children, Adrian (Brittney) Sanders, Henry "Darnell" Sanders, Donte (Ariel) Sanders; grandchildren Avah Sanders, Brayah Conley; great-grandchildren, Aniya, Ariel and Kaiden Sanders; sisters, Mary Frances (Thomas) Thorton and Bernice (Willie) Jones. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Sanders, granddaughter, Sierria Sanders; and siblings, John Everson Jr. and Estella Price. Service is 12 noon, Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Fellowship Missionary Church, 2536 E. Tillman Road, with calling from 10 am until the service. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery.
