Nancy F. Archer, age 85 , of Fort Wayne passed away Thursday, October 14th, 2021. She was born in Scobey, MT to the late Robert and Cecil Ferguson. Nancy enjoyed working with children as a music teacher for over 30 years at Forest Park Elementary School. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the Bach Collegium, sang in the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, and played in a local polka band. Nancy will be remembered as a masterful musician, gardener, world traveler, and perpetual learner. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her niece, Christa (Jim) Lyons of Framingham, MA; nephew, Tim (Leslie) Schuneman of Gilbert, AZ; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Archer; sister, Cynthia Schuneman; and more recently her companion, George Johnson. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
