Obituary
Mozella Harvard, 84, passed away Friday, March 21, 2025, in Fort Wayne at her home. She was born in Jeffersonville, Georgia.
Mozella is survived by her husband, James T Burks and her children; Melvin (Ali) Harvard, Darren (Carie) Harvard, James Harvard, Timothy Burks, and Shalom Harvard; grandchildren, Laveasea (Jesse) Harvard, Darren (Tamara) Harvard Jr., Devon (Kayla) Harvard, Danisha (DaVonte) Holliness, Jasmine Davis, Ja'Nya Harvard, Damien Harvard, Kaily Harvard, Kevin Williams, Charles Harvard, James Harvard Jr., Alyssa Harvard, Mya Branstrator, Titus Branstrator, Nehemiah Harvard, Makyah Harvard, Ealiyah Harvard; great-grandchildren, La'Kea, Na'Shyra, Leasia, Bry'Elle, Bry'Oir, Sahara, Xavier Jr., Londynn, Italee, Hazel, Amyra, Hayden, Josiah, Kamyiah, Jeremiah, Kevin Jr., Cobie; special brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends. Mozella was a beautiful person; she loved everyone. Family meant everything to her. She loved her flowers and working in her garden. She loved to cook for everyone. She loved to put all the kids to work - big or small, she taught them all something, be it pulling weeds or splitting peas. She lived life to the fullest and was loved by so many people. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; grandsons, Timothy Jr., Deonte, Jacquise; and granddaughter, Theresa.
A funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street) with calling from 10 am until the service.
