Monique Johnetta Felix, age 25, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 6, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born in Wauseon, OH on February 11, 1997 and was a 2017 graduate of Fayette High School. Monique worked as a cosmetologist, in home health care, and also at Goodwill. She is survived by her husband, August "Gus" von Seggern; mother, Mary Jane Felix; siblings, Suriah Felix, Abi Sturgeon, Joaquin Perez, and Briseida Perez; maternal grandparents, John and Braulia Felix; aunt, Teresa Felix; and cousins, Tyra Taylor and Tressa Taylor; and her dogs, Remi, Opal, and Eska. Monique was preceded in death by her uncle, Travis Taylor. There will be private family services held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana.
