Mildred "Millie" Wilson, 81, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on Saturday, January 21, 2023 surrounded by her family while singing praise songs to Jesus. Born in Hammond Indiana Millie was a daughter of the late John and Mary Tubich. During her working years she helped her husband at their Funeral Home in Hamilton. She worked many years for North American Van Lines in the claims department. While at NAVL she was known as "Millie the pie lady." Following NAVL she helped as a bus aid. She served as past president of the Chamber of Commerce in Hamilton. Millie was a pillar of strength to her family but also to all those who were around her. She had a beautiful voice and sang with the Family of God Gospel group while in Hamilton. She loved to cook and bake. Millie was a devoted wife, loving mother, and caring grandma to her family. Her grandson Jonathon was her pride and joy. Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Gerald "Jerry" Wilson; children, Tim Wilson, Kim Wilson; grandchildren, Kendra Wilson and Jonathon (Thiana) Wilson. Millie was preceded by her sisters, Stella and Janet Tubich. Graveside Service is 2 pm, Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Eddy Cemetery, Hamilton, Indiana.
