It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michelle Briggs, who passed away at the age of 48.
Throughout her life, she worked in hospitality, where she found joy in caring for others and making people feel welcome. She had a deep love for animals and a special appreciation for classic movies and music from the ’80s and ’90s, which brought her happiness throughout her life. As a young woman, she was a talented figure skater, a hobby she always looked back on with pride. Whenever the family visited an ice skating rink, she always made sure to show off her figure skating moves.
Above all, she loved her family. She is survived by her mother, Laurie McIntosh; her children, Emma McIntosh, Diana Atteberry (April), and Nick McIntosh; and her grandson, Levi Atteberry, who brought immense joy to her life. She also leaves behind extended family and friends who will remember her in their own special ways.
She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her, and her memory will continue to live on through her family and all whose lives she touched.
A private memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Interstitial Cystitis Association at https://www.ichelp.org/
