Michael "Mike" Jon Ward, 59, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was born to Janice Elaine (Welborn) and the late William A. Ward in Wabash, IN. He graduated from Synder High School in 1982. Mike was a history buff, musician, and artistic.

Along with his mother, Mike is survived by his siblings, Leslie (Mark) Britton of Greenville, TN, Laura (David) Revard of Woodburn, IN, Sean Ward of Cleveland, TN, Robin (Gregg) Stepp of Cleveland, TN and Chad (Laura) Ward of Hixon, TN; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 2:00 pm with visitation one hour prior at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825). Visitation will also be on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. A private burial will be held at Covington Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Janice Ward or Parkview Packnett Family Cancer Center.
