Obituary
Michael "Mike" R. Thomas SR., 71, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024. He was born to the late Ranson Ackerson and Icylene Thomas in Fort Wayne on May 28, 1953.
Mike is survived by his children, Michael Thomas Jr., Darnell Swapshire, Darian Logan, LaQuinta Thomas, Mar'Quita Thomas, and Brandon Hutcherson; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Marcia Paterson; and a host of relatives and friends. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Zekiya Thomas; and siblings, Barbara Jean, Joey and Freddy.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 11:00 am at Greater Christ Temple (2940 S Anthony Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46806) with visitation two hours prior. Burial will at the Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of LaQuinta Thomas.
