Michael A. Kloepper, age 78, passed away October 6, 2018 at his home in Fort Wayne. He was born in Fort Wayne to the late Carl and Louise Kloepper. Mike worked at the Tokheim Corporation for 43 years. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Marine Corp. Mike was also a member of the American Legion Post 47 and St. Peter's Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, Carole Kloepper of Fort Wayne; daughter, Amy (Brent) Hiatt of New Haven, IN; grandchildren, Mikala (Drake) Schmidt, Joshua Hiatt, and Tyler Hiatt; brothers, David (Sandy) Kloepper of Berne, IN and Joel (Kathy) Kloepper of Pleasant Lake, IN. Mike was preceded in death by his son, Sean Kloepper; and siblings, Carol Hermann and Fred Kloepper. Service is at 7:00 pm, Thursday, October 11, 2018 at FairHaven Funeral and Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St., with calling 3 hours prior beginning at 4:00 pm.
