Obituary
In Loving Memory of Michael Wayne Jones December 25th, 1973 - September 17th, 2025.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of my beloved father, son, brother, uncle, fiancée and grandfather. Michael Jones began his journey to Heaven on September 17th, 2025, at the tender age of 51. Michael has resided in Dayton, Ohio and most recently Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Michael always went out of his way to make sure his family's needs were taken care of before his. He was a devoted family man. A friend you could count on and didn't judge you. He met some great friends and friends that became family working at DMax (In Ohio), Faurecia (Ohio and Indiana) and most recently XPO Logistics (Fremont, Indiana). Other than his family and friends, anyone that knew he was a big sports fan. Heaven gained a huge Dallas Cowboys, University of Michigan, and New York Knicks fan. Football season will never be the same.
Preceded in death by his mother Linda Charlene Jones, maternal and paternal grandparents.
Michael was a devoted father to Catalina V. Jones of Fort Wayne, IN.
Brother to Vicky L. Jones of Enon, Ohio.
Uncle to David C. White of Enon, Ohio.
Fiancée to Esperanza MacLeod of Fort Wayne, IN.
Stepfather to Dallas A. MacLeod of Fort Wayne, IN, and Cody J. MacLeod (Charity) of Woodburn, IN.
Grandfather to Veronica and Isabella MacLeod.
Best friend and brother to Craig Kendig of Moraine, Ohio.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 30th, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825). A Celebration of Life will also be in Ohio at a later date.
