Michael "Mikey" Wade Freistroffer, 23, passed away September 18, 2026.

Michael really enjoyed music and playing on pianos. He loved hugs and enjoyed cuddling. Michael was always his parent's angel boy, and he finally got his wings.

Michael is survived by his mom, Lyndie (Nathan) Rogers; dad, Scott (Andrea) Freistroffer; siblings, Jack, William, and Anne; stepsiblings, Waylon, Weston, Will, Lily, and Asher; grandparents, Susan Freistroffer, Wade and Roe Lerum, and Shelly Gentil; great-grandma, Joyce Modglin; and multiple aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandpa, John Freistroffer; grandpa, Jim Modglin, and aunt, Aleesha Lerum.

A funeral service will take place on Thursday September 24, 2026, at 6:00 pm, located at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street) with visitation from 5:00 pm until the service. Memorial donations may be given to the family or Vernon Manor Health and Rehabilitation.
