Michael R. Federspiel, age 64, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in Fort Wayne. He was born in Hicksville, OH, to the late Bert Federspiel and Maxine Federspiel, who survives, of Fort Wayne. Michael retired from the DANA Corporation after 30 years of service, and most recently worked as a truck driver. He was a member of Grabill Missionary Church and a board member for the Cedar Creek Township. He will be remembered for his giving heart, and willingness to help others. Michael is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sherri Federspiel of Grabill, IN; children, Sarah Federspiel of Fort Wayne, and Phillip Federspiel of Fort Wayne; grandson, Rylan Vandermotten; and sister, Denise (Steve) Guingrich of Spencerville, IN. A private family service will be held at Grabill Missionary Church of Grabill, IN. Burial at Harlan Cemetery. A celebration of life is being planned at a later date.
