Michael James Dosen, 63, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021 at his home in Fort Wayne. He was born in Chicago, IL to the late Stephen and Margaret Dosen. Michael worked as a purchasing agent in the utility department for Shambaugh and Son. He also served the community as a volunteer firefighter for over 20 years at the St. Joseph Township Fire Department and served as the Fire Chief. Michael is survived by his wife, Ambur Dosen; son, Austin (Brittany) Dosen; step-children, Staci (Dwayne) Fordham, Julie (Matt) Mandeville, Jeff Linnemeier, Miranda Baker, and Madison Baker; 8 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and two siblings, Tommy (Sharon) Dosen and Patti Thomas. Service is 6:00pm, Friday, May 7, 2021 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St., with calling two hours prior beginning at 4:00 pm.
