Obituary
Mi Than Cho Aye, 60, of Fort Wayne passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025, at her lovely home peacefully. She was born in Paung, Mon State, Myanmar on November 25, 1965.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Mawlamyine University in 1987. She worked as a middle school teacher from 1987 to 2013 in Myanmar. She was married to Nai Rot Chan (Aung San Oo) in 1990 and was blessed with a son, Min Htaw Lawi in 1994.
She was a lovely wife, beloved mother, an incredible mother-in-law, a wonderful and amazing aunt, a kind and respectful teacher.
She loved traditional dancing, singing, gardening, cooking, meditation, listening to Dharma talks and helping others.
She is survived by her husband, Nai Rot Chan; son, Min Htaw Lawi; daughter-in-law, Htet Htet Lin.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825).
