Obituary
Melvis Jo Thompson, 88, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday October 6, 2025.
Melvis is survived by her son, Mark (Angie) Thompson; grandchildren, Kevin (Amy) Thompson, Marie Thompson, Jasmine Akut, and Adam Akut; 6 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren; siblings, Shelton Dunlap, Larry Dunlap, and Barb Carter.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Leann Akut; and brother, Red Dunlap.
No services will be held at this time in Fort Wayne, but there will be services held in Alabama at a later date.
