Melinda E. Taylor, 47, of Leo, IN, passed away on Thursday October 22, 2026. Melinda was a graduate of Leo Jr Sr High School and then earned a degree in massage therapy. She was a massage therapist for over 25 years and owned her own massage therapy spa.
Melinda loved to travel and spend time with her family at the lake, especially her son, Isaak.
Melinda is survived by her son, Isaak Smith; mother, Linda Smith; brother, Matthew (Trishia King) Smith; niece, Cora Smith; grandson, Kamden Walters; stepdaughters, JA’-Ouanna M. Taylor, Kyla Walters, Jerwuan Taylor Jr; and many additional dear relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas S. Smith.
A memorial service will be held for Melinda on Sunday, November 1, 2026 at 3pm with memorial visitation beginning 2 hours prior at 1pm all at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St.
