Melanie D. Wilkerson, age 58, passed away January 13, 2019 in Fort Wayne. She was born in DeKalb, IL to Harold and Doris Jean Wilkerson of Fort Wayne who survive. Melanie graduated from Kishwaukee Junior College in Malta, IL with an associates degree in business and accounting. She worked for Don Ayres Honda of Fort Wayne for 20 years. Melanie was a long-time member of Brookside Church. She is also survived by her siblings, Susan (Harlen) Hildebrandt of New Haven, IN, Cheryl Harper of Loganville, GA, Jeffery (Kathy) Wilkerson of Dekalb, IL; Mark (Deborah) Wilkerson of Fort Wayne; and several nieces and nephews. Service is 10:30 am, Saturday, January 19. 2019 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St, with calling one hour prior. Calling also Friday, January 18, 2019 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Brookside Church or Visiting Nurse.
