Mary Louise Spice died peacefully on Feb. 16 at age 95. A lifelong Fort Wayne resident, she was a beloved mother and a faithful member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She saw the best and brought out the best in everyone around her. A graduate of Central High School and Indiana University, she also was a diligent and talented worker, notably aiding her mother, Theresia Archer, in operating a family-run medical supply company. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry L. Spice. She is survived by a daughter, Roseann Coomer (Allen) of Fort Wayne, and two sons, Byron Spice (Nancy) of Canonsburg, PA., and Alan Spice (Barbara) of Middlebury, IN, as well as five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She had a big heart and was always there for family members and friends who loved and needed her. Service is 11:00 am, Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 917 W. Jefferson Blvd., with calling from 9:30 am until the services. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
