Mary L. Smith, age 44, passed away November 8, 2018 in Fort Wayne. She was born in Decatur, IN to her father, the late Tom Adams and her mother, who survives, Mary Lou Stetler of Fort Wayne. Mary worked as a registered nurse with Bethlehem Woods for 13 years and most recently at Kingston Care as a nursing supervisor. She was a member of The Pointe Church. She is survived by her husband, Jeffery Smith of Fort Wayne; children, Trever McCullough of Monroe, IN, Justin Smith, Kayla Smith, and Jeffery Smith, Jr. all of Fort Wayne; 6 grandchildren; brother, Jeffrey (Betty) Schaadt of Colorado Springs, CO and sister Linda (Bruce) Combs of Huntington, IN. Mary was preceded in death by her son, Seth T. Barton; and her maternal grandmother, Betty L. Stetler. Service is 10:30 am Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. with calling one hour prior. Calling also Monday, November 12, 2018 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial in Decatur Cemetery, Decatur, IN. Memorials may be made to the family.
