Mary R. Scott, 63, of Fort Wayne, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 9, 2026 at Lutheran Hospital. She was born in Fort Wayne on October 20, 1962. Mary graduated from North Side High School. She was a talented hairstylist for many years in Fort Wayne and Auburn. Mary loved to travel and spending time outdoors. She enjoyed going to drag races, watching movies and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. She adored her three granddaughters.

Mary is survived her loving husband, Thomas Scott; daughter, Lisa Scott; granddaughters, Zahara Scott, ZaRhya Jackson, and ZaLaya Jackson; and a host of relatives and friends.

Private family services will be held.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses in care of Thomas Scott.
