Mary Pfister, age 77, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, surrounded by those who loved her.

Born on September 30, 1947, in Long Beach, California, Mary lived a life full of compassion, warmth, and love. She had a heart that welcomed everyone and a gentle spirit that made people feel seen and cared for. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Mary touched many lives with her kindness and unwavering love.

Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Karl Pfister; her sons, Matthew Williams and Aaron Williams; and her cherished grandson, Dustin Williams, whom she raised as her own son. She also leaves behind five loving siblings, along with numerous other relatives and friends who were blessed to know her.

A lifelong dog lover, Mary had a special place in her heart for animals, and her compassion extended to all living things. Her home was always open, her hugs always warm, and her love knew no bounds.

Mary's life was a testament to the power of love, and her memory will continue to inspire all who knew her.

A funeral service will take place on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 3:00 pm, located at Grace Point Church of the Nazarene (8611 Mayhew Rd. Fort Wayne, IN 46835) with visitation starting at 1:00 pm until the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a local animal shelter or an animal rescue organization in Mary's memory.
