Mary L. Perez, 91, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday August 28, 2026. Mary was born in Fort Wayne to the late Floyd and Mildred Medsker.
Mary enjoyed tatting, camping, going to the lake and visiting the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee. She retired from General Electric after many years of service. Most of all, Mary was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Mary is survived by her son, Johnny (Christine) Perez; granddaughter, Amanda (Zach) Lopez; great grandchildren, Caleb Perez, and Gabriel Lopez; siblings, Melvin Medsker, and Julia Weber; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband John in 2015; siblings, Robert Medsker, Marvin Medsker, Richard Medsker, and sister, Joyce Gensel.
Funeral service for Mary will be on Friday September, 4, 2026 at 11:30 am with visitation 1 hour prior beginning at 10:30am at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
