Mary E. Howey, 73, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday October, 10th 2026. Mary was born in Fort Wayne to the late Vernon and Mary Pilling.
She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casinos, traveling, and visiting the Silver Lake Dunes. Most importantly, she loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Mary worked at Park Center in Fort Wayne for 40 years where she was an office manager.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Howey; daughter, Cheri (Juan) Arambula; son, Michael (Megan) Howey; grandchildren, Juan III, Austin, Ryanne, Braxton, Ayla; and 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Olive Gautier and Gary (Becky) Pilling; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Howey; siblings, Vernon Pilling, Howard Pilling, John Pilling, Jimmy Pilling, Ray Pilling.
There will be a memorial service for Mary on Thursday October 15th 2026 at 3pm with visitation beginning one hour prior at 2pm all at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St.
