Mary Edith Heemsoth, 87, of Fort Wayne died Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Village of Pine Valley. She was born December 8, 1929 in Fort Wayne to the late Newton and Dorothy Lucille (Liedolf) Kelso. Mary retired from the City of Fort Wayne. She loved her family and was a wonderful grandmother.

Surviving are her son, Ronald F. Lopshire; daughter-in-law, Margaret Lopshire; grandchildren, Michelle (Paul) Smith; Christina (Chris) McElhoe; Courtney (Barb) Lopshire; and Kyle (Casey) Lopshire; great-grandchildren, Abigail Smith; Miriam Smith; Grace McElhoe; and Cole Lopshire. Preceded in death by son, Douglas N. Lopshire and daughter-in-law, Lorna Lopshire.

A private funeral will be held at a later date.
