Mary Lou Hay, age 90, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022 in Fort Wayne. She was born in Waynedale, IN to the late Lloyd Oser and Viola Melton. Mary Lou worked 29 years for North American Van Lines and was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church where after retirement she volunteered in the church office. She is survived by her loving children, Judy (Gary) Koontz of Fort Wayne, and John (Jim Kelleher) Hay Jr. of Ione, CA; sisters, Luella Wilson of Ossian, IN, LouAnn Hensel of Fort Wayne, Billie (Robert) Thomas of Fremont, IN and Helen Rakestraw of Fort Wayne. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, John Hay and grandson, Ryan Koontz. Calling is 1:00pm -2:00 pm on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Concordia Cemetery Gardens, 5365 Lake Ave. A private committal service will follow. Memorials may be made to Worship Anew or Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
