Mary T. Garns, age 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 26, 2025, in Fort Wayne. Born in Pontiac, Michigan, she was the beloved daughter of the late Lester and Gertrude Shutt. Mary was a proud entrepreneur, owning and operating her own wallpaper business for many years. She later worked as a supervisor in the paint department at Lowe's, where she met the love of her life, David.  A woman of deep faith and community spirit, Mary was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She also actively participated in several organizations, including American Legion Post 330, the VFW, Loyal Order of Moose, New Haven Lodge #740, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Nicole Pratt Clark;  son-in-law, Brian Clark and Daniel Stockdale;  four grandchildren, Christopher (Kari) Stockdale, Cierra (Josh) King, Evan (Vanessa) Clark, and Landon Clark; eight great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Garns;  daughter, Tamara Stockdale; and her great-grandson, Liam Clark.
