Marsha Lynn Knitter, 70, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois Marsha was raised by her loving grandparents, James "Daddy" Wright and Clara "Coy" Hardin. Marsha was the definition of a perfect mom, and grandma. She supported her family in anyway needed and was always active in her children's and grandchildren's lives. Marsha enjoyed working in the yard, and she had a passion for animals. Surviving are her children, Tim (Anna) Knitter, Brian (Katie Reinking) Knitter, Michael (Lori) Knitter; grandchildren, Zachary, Haley, Jacob, Isabella, Braxton, Raena, Hattie, Addie; brother, David (Cyndee) Hardin; and her dogs, Tessa and Jack. Marsha was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Denny Knitter in 2014. Service is 1 pm, Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling from 10 am until the service. Burial in Riverview Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Humane Fort Wayne or Animal Care and Control.
