Mark Edward Tester, 77, passed away on June 30, 2026, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born in Huntington, Indiana.
Mark enjoyed his profession as a barber, where he loved getting to know his clients. He created many long-term friendships through his work and kindness to people. Mark was proud to serve his county as an Army veteran, where he was stationed in Washington D.C. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved to sit by the pool and read his Kindle. Mark was known for his ability to connect with everyone around him, never hesitating to strike up a conversation with a stranger. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Mark is survived by his wife since 1969, Deborah Tester; children, Corey Tester and Brooke (Greg) Blackman; grandchildren, Ava, Aubrey, Chloe, and Reed; brother, David (Jenny) Tester; sisters, Barbara (Denny) Tester Geimer, Beverly (Jack) Tester Naberhaus, and Becky (Fred) Tester Scheiber.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Elizabeth (Betty) Tester.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
