Marita Jo Lobdell, 87, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018. She was born in Warsaw, Indiana and was the daughter of the late Leolin and Mary (Bodley) Moon. Marita graduated from Warsaw High School class of 1948. She worked ten years at Lutheran Hospital and eight years at Omni Source, retiring in 1993. She had been a resident of New Haven for 38 years. Marita loved a good laugh with friends and family, a strong Manhattan, and the company of her feline friends. She is survived by her children, Greg (Donna) Lobdell of Bloomington, Dan Lobdell of Fort Wayne, Julie (Michael) Lobdell of Longmont, CO, Holly Lobdell Green of Fishers; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Service will be 1 pm, Monday, July 30, 2018 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling from 11 am until the service. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Helping Paws Pet Haven Inc., in Huntington, Indiana.
