Marion L. Mettler, 80, of Fort Wayne and previously of Appleton, NY, passed away at her daughter's home on March 2, 2025. She was born on January 26, 1945 to the late George and Sarah Adams. Marion retired from Harrison Radiator, a division of General Motors. She is survived by her husband, Charles Mettler of New York; son, Leander (Dolores) Batiste of South Carolina; daughter, Patti (Greg) Bedford of Indiana; son, Gary (Sarah) Batiste of Indiana; grandchildren, Bryan Batiste, Alyssa Batiste, Courtney Bedford, Peyton Bedford, Sadie Batiste, Lacie Batiste, Alexie Batiste, Brandy Wellar, Brian Troy, and Taylor Ambrosino; and her beloved cat, Buddy. Marion was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Megan Jo Bedford;  siblings, Dorothy Chambers, George Adams, Barbara Truax, Sally Muir, and Shirley McKeever.
