Marilyn Slaven, 90, passed Saturday, August 31, 2024, in Fort Wayne. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Thomas and Dorthy White. She grew up in California and her love for traveling back there never faded throughout the years. Marilyn's number one priority was her family. She loved making memories with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren over the years. Marilyn enjoyed golfing, traveling, especially going to Las Vegas. Her fun loving personality allowed her to enjoy her life to the fullest. Her memory will live on in all that knew her. Marilyn is survived by her children, Beverly Krudop, Judy Shultz; grandchildren, Jennifer Preston, Nicole Hurst, Miranda Romano, Stephanie Curtiss, Marc Curtiss, and Joseph Hurst; great-grandchildren, Carter King, and Owen Curtiss. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Slaven. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 am, Friday, September 6, 2024, at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N.
