Marilyn Kim Gruesbeck, age 68, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2024 in Fort Wayne. She was born in Fort Wayne to the late Jim and Dorothy Gatchell. Marilyn retired from Parkview Memorial after 40 passionate years of service. She was a member of St. Joe United Methodist Church and enjoyed traveling, camping, hiking, watersports, baking, and gardening. Marilyn is survived by her husband of 46 years, Rodney Gruesbeck; children, Michelle Gruesbeck, Jason (Lisa) Young, and Carolyn (Alexander) Duhn; and siblings, David Gatchell, Jane (Mark) Walls, and Ronald (Tina) Gatchell. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Terry "Lee" Gatchell. Service is 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. with calling one hour prior. Calling also 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, November 8, 2024 at the funeral home.
