Marie E. Murdock, 70, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023. She was a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and worked with children, adults, and families at different agencies for 40 years. She was a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Richard C. Waikel; her son, Craig G. Murdock Waikel; and sister, Tracie Hoffman. She is survived by her sister, Linda (Conrad) Diehl; four brothers, Charles (Dorothy) Diehl, James (Cyndi) Murdock, David (Arlene) Murdock and Bruce Murdock.

Funeral service will be on Thursday, January 4, 2023 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825) at 6:00 pm with visitation beginning at 3:00 pm until the time of service.
