Marianne Krueger, 87, peacefully passed away Monday, March 7, 2022. She was born on February 9, 1935, in Nittenau, Germany. At the age of 19, she moved to the United States, leaving behind her family. Marianne and Gary were married on August 11, 1957, in South Dakota. They lived in Beloit, Wisconsin until 2017 when they moved to Fort Wayne. She was a devoted wife for 64 years, a loving mom, and a caring grandma/great grandma to her family. She enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, doing floral arrangements, cooking, and spending time with friends. Marianne and Gary loved to travel. They had visited over 22 countries. Surviving is her husband, Gary Krueger; children, Mike (Bonnie) Krueger, Lisa (Dave) McCracken; grandchildren, Brandon, Andrew, Brian, Lucas, Rachel; great-grandchildren, Eloise, Dawson, and Logan. Marianne was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother. Calling will be on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at Praise Lutheran Church, 1115 W. Dupont Rd from 5 pm to 7 pm. Service is 11 am, Friday, March 18, 2022, at the church with calling one hour prior. There will be a luncheon immediately following the service – all are welcome. Burial in Scipio Cemetery, Harlan, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services is handling arrangements.
