Maria T. Onz, 96, of Fort Wayne, passed away in her home, on Thursday, December 5, 2024. Born on May 9, 1928, in Sierning, Austria, she immigrated to America in 1956 with her husband and son. Along with being a devoted homemaker, she worked at Wayne Co-operative Milk Producers Inc. as a Dairy Lab Technician in the 1950's and 60's, and later helped as a teacher's aide at Saint Vincent's Day Care Center.

Maria is survived by her daughter, Elisabeth Onz of Fort Wayne; granddaughter, Tina (Matt) Willis of Angola; great grandchildren, Alexis (Travis) Clouse, Austin (Macklin) Davenport, and Aiden Willis; great- great grandchildren Harper and Bradley Clouse.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Josef E. Onz; and her son, Gerhard (Gary) E. Onz.

A funeral service for Maria will take place on Friday, December 13, 2024 at 1:00pm with visitation beginning at noon at FairHaven Funeral Home, 6557 N. Clinton St. Visitation will also be held on Thursday December 12, 2024 from 4:00 –7:00 pm, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
