Marjorie "Margie" Gilbert, 64, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday May 2nd at Celebrate Senior Living. Margie worked at St Anne Home for over 20 years. In her free time, she enjoyed watching movies, reading, and her cat Gizmo. Margie was a great sister, aunt, and all around wonderful person.
She is survived by her siblings, Shirley Bearss, Brooksie Cherry, and Sharon (Dan) Hoover; nieces, Cindy, Christina (Sam), Diana, Kristy; nephews, Robert, Donnie (Niece), Travis, and Greg; many great nieces and nephews and many great-great nieces and nephews. Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Mervin and Gerline Cherry; brother Larry, and brother-in-law Ronnie.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, August 27th, gathering from 1:00pm until 6:00 pm to remember Margie at the Franke Park Pond Pavilion, 3411 Sherman Boulevard Fort Wayne, IN 46808. Preferred Memorials in Margie's honor may be directed to Cancer Services of North East Indiana.
