Margery E. Springer-Thompson, age 88, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022 in Fort Wayne. She was born in Marion, IN to Elerie and Anna Bower. Margery worked and retired as a food stamp clerk. She is survived by her children, Jennifer (Thomas) Hakes, Deidre (Donald) Britton, and Delbert (Lisa) Springer all of Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and brother, William Bowers of Atlanta, GA. Margery was preceded in death by first husband, Delbert Springer; second husband, Robert Thompson; two grandchildren, her great-great-granddaughter; two brothers and one sister. Service is 5:00 pm, Tuesday, December 6, 2022 with at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. with calling two hours prior beginning at 3:00 pm.
