Marcille M. Burtch, 96, of Fort Wayne, went Home to the Lord on Saturday, June 24, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late Walter and Marie (Brudi) Henschen on April 9, 1927. Marcille married the late Robert L. Burtch in October 16, 1948. She was a life-long member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, who created a beautiful life for her family. Marcille loved to be outdoors, entertaining by cooking for her family and friends, sewing, and painting. She was loved by all everywhere she went with her caring and kind spirit.

Marcille is survived by children, Tom (Karen) Burtch of Macomb, IL and Lori Richey of Fort Wayne; granddaughters, Amanda (Tim) Ryan, Stacey (Ryan) Hubbard, Lindsey (Aaron) Walker, Meghann (Jeremy) Whetstone and Katie (Eric) Mikiska, ten great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Doug Richey; and four siblings.

Funeral service will be on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church (917 W Jefferson Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46802) at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825) from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A private graveside service will be at Lindenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
